Project Idea’s

 

I am interested in creating an environment for the viewers to interact with. For instance, if a persons walks thru the space, different sensors will be triggered, triggering other objects within the space to perform some function. One idea is to have a bunch of TV’s or monitors displayed together and all blank except one, but the image will be small enough that the viewer has to walk up to it to see and when they do, it disappears and reappears on another screen.  I know there are people interested in creating these types of environments so if I could just jump in on another existing project and incorporated some of the things I’m interested in exploring in this class

 

This is an idea for a side project but it might be interesting to
expand on for a final project idea. I want to do something with the 
old tin can & stringtelephone we use to play with as kids.  I’d like to
build a wall unit or a free standing unit that will have a bunch of
strings and cans attached.  I was thinking each could be linked some
how so that each receiver will have sounds. The sounds all linked some
how  to forms of communication; television, radio, morris code, cb
radio, so on and and so on.  I don’t know if there is a way to
conceal wire or something within the string to conduct the sound more
clearly or even if this is a feasible idea in the first place.
