A Bit About Me-n-My Work
My name is Joey Capadona and I am currently a senior in the sculpture dept. I have quite a bit of experience with wood and metal fabrication. If anyone has any questions concerning either the wood or metal shop feel free to ask me. Myself and a few more of your classmates are almost always in the Henrion Gym and will gladly assist those who may need it, safety first! We don’t want anyone cutting off any fingers for an art project do we?-) Here are 2 of my most recent peices.
The toilet piece is part of a series where I create these sections of various environments for my sculptures to inhabit, some of the sculptures are modified found objects and some original forms/beings I created that incorporates ”technology” within the figures (the caged figure). Ultimately I’d like to incorporated some minor robotics, motion and range sensors, time delays and possibly wireless remote control at some point.
